Chelmsford Male Voice Choir were delighted to be asked by Farleigh Hospice to help with their fundraising efforts this Christmas. A good crowd stopped to listen to their performance. in High Chelmer.
CMVC held their 2026 Christmas Concert on 13th December at their usual venue - Trinity Methodist Church, Chelmsford. It was well attended and the choir gave a fantastic performance. Songs included Holly Jolly Christmas, O Holy Night, Have a Silent Night amongst others. There were also opportunities for the audience to join in with some traditional carols.
This year, the concert was in a slightly different format. We enjoyed readings from three of our members - including a self penned poem. The audience were also entertained by one of the choir members singing a couple of duets with his daughter.
The highlight must be the choir and the audience joining in with The Twelve Days of Christmas - actions for each day! If only we had a photo of the choir doing 'A Partridge in a Pear Tree'!!
Many thanks to our front of house staff, as always - we could not hold concerts without you. Other thanks go to the committee and all helpers. Special thanks go to Claire, the choir's accompanist.
We hope you have a great Christmas and New year and we look forward to entertaining you in 2026. Please check our diary for upcoming events.
